My Tales Within

Somewhere between black and white

Sunshine dispels gloom
Dark gives in to bright
Happiness lies somewhere
in between the black and white

In the frost it lies

Under the white blanket
under the starry skies
The frozen twig
in the frost it lies

drop of the dying tree
frozen dry of the life sap
Yet carrying the snow
on its selfless back

Awaiting the inevitable end,
trampled by an unknowing boot
Splintering into many
into the dust and soot

Seeping into the melting ice
flowing into the soil
Carrying its essence,
in its last altruistic toil

Deep in the soil
it waits for the new summer
the seed of the new tree
Curled in a wintery slumber

Continuous and resplendent
the circle of life strives
under the white blanket
in the frost it lies

मिला उन सबसे
मेरी यादें हैं जो
हर लम्हों कि महक महसूस कर ली
ऐसा लगा जिंदगी फिर जी ली

हंसी के पल
ठहाके लगा कर जी लिए
फिर खुराफात के मौके ढूँढ लिए
फिर बचपन कि बेचैन दस्तक सुन ली

गले लगा के धड़कनों को पहचान लिया
उनकी खुशबु का असर देर तक महसूस किया
कभी दूर ना थे, ये एहसास हुआ
ऐसा लगा कि फिर उसी पल की नजाकत देख ली

हर शख्स जो मिला
जिंदगी का हिस्सा बन गया
वो मेरी और मैं उनकी कहानी बन गया
उनसे मुलाकात कर ऐसा लगा
फिर यादों में अपनी जिंदगी की कहानी सुन ली

Underneath the starry sky
Its lonely
They are so many
and its only me

Do they see
The twinkle in my eye?
Or can they see
the cleverly concealed lie?

Merrily they stand and watch
Transfixed in their velvety black dome
Unable themselves, yet mocking
Hoping I wouldn’t save my self on my own

Dawn is breaking
Its the end of thier time
Its a new day
And they know its mine

यादों का खजाना

हर दिन का हिसाब है
बुने नए कई ख्वाब हैं
कुछ रह गए खयालों में
कुछ हकीकत कि मिसाल हैँ ।

ख्वाबों से जिंदगी चुराई है
दिल भर कर जिया है।
हर लम्हा अनमोल था
यादों में कैद किया है।

यादों की चुस्की लेकर
फिर उन दिनों का मज़ा लेंगे
ख्वाबों का क्या है
फिर हिसाब लगा लेंगे

Memories bring laughter
Rings a bell

Waves surf the shore

Morning smells Coffee

Right now I have this day to finish

Each box ticked
Whew!! the work is done.
the day draws to an end
and we count it as one.

Rising again with the sun
Unwilling to start the next count
Yet eager to finishing this one
boxes to be ticked, once again mount

Each count ends in a week,
quitely into a month, the week crept
I celeberate the birth one more time
Counting the many nights I have slept

Counting the nights was easy,
For the sleeping part I was sure.
Did I wake up or just sleep walked?
Of the day I was not sure.

On the moving tread I walked
counting the steps and time,
Achievements recorded on the counter
Celeberations for with every chime

I ran and walked
moving constantly on the set pace
Tired and exhausted,
yet competing the static race

In this race, I am running.
finish line is everyone’s dread
Yet in the race
I run faster instead.

I know I have another half to live
For doing all the things I wish
there will be time to live my life
But now, I have this day to finish

मैं तो इक ख्वाब कि तलाश में
घूमता रहा
जब जाना कि यही ख्वाब है
फिर नींद नहीं आयी
