The science of things

What was your favorite subject in school?

Mine was Science

Yes. You heard it right.

Well maybe not the numericals and the maths of it. But the concept and the grandeur of it.

The understanding that everything was governed by a law. A law, devised for our mind to explain things. Beyond those defined laws, was of course, the divine.

Also, the little things which eyes couldn’t see or the gargantuan heavenly things which mind couldn’t conceive.

I liked the way how certain imaginations became a definition of the way all things worked.

I would daydream and relate the theories with life and relationships.

Of friendship and relations.

Some of these wild thoughts I wrote about, some of them are still reverberating in the alleys of my mind. Someday they will form a song and play out.

I will wait

The blue scooter

"What on earth is this?" mumbled Margaret, as she peeped out of the Window. She turned and shouted the question to her husband in the toilet.

Mathew was rushing for a busy day. He was a real estate agent and it wasn't the best of the times. Last thing he needed was a situation.

"It’s a blue scooter. I saw it parked at the street across. What's wrong with that?" His question betrayed his irritation.

Margaret did not reply. Mathew couldn’t see her ashen face. Neither could he see the metal tentacles moving at unearthly speed towards Margaret’s throat.
