Dark night that walks

There is a dark sky
That walks
Across the scattering
Of Little sparks

Then in time it turns
To the bright blue side
In keeping, with the pattern,
That It must abide

In many such cycles
Travels forward the time
In its ashes, soon forgotten
Is all that I adored as mine

And then when the urn is filled
Up to the brim, piles up the grime
It would start all over again
One story at a time

Silent, muffled, shout

What should I wear
To hide myself
Isn’t the skin enough?
It keeps me wrapped up
Encased
Entrapped

What should I wear
to save myself
Isn’t this tough hide enough?
It keeps me protected
Armoured
Cocooned

What should I wear
to be accepted
Isn’t this colour correct?
It keeps me camouflaged
Uniform
Blended

What should I say
To be heard
Isn’t the scream loud?
It keeps me in tune
Silent
Muffled

Yet the glimmer escapes
a glimpse of what can be
Isn’t that what can’t be hidden?
It keeps me hopeful
Praying
Waiting

River of Time

What are you most worried about for the future?

What’s tomorrow now

Will be the Today, tomorrow

I am hopeful now

I should be happy tomorrow

What it would bring

Tomorrow only knows

It’s for me to dream today

Reality, god only knows

I am just a flow

Through the river of time

I am here now

I will still be here tomorrow
