Fallen petal in my garden
Lonesome Red petal
a piece of the tree
is now fallen
And free
Bathed in the
Dew drops, pure as glass
Served and protected
by loyal blades of grass
It retains its colour
Vivid and true
Unaware it’s fallen
And would never be new
In decay
It glows
What it is
It shows
Its fallen
Yet it remains
With its colour
the mind it stains
Soon
The petal
would cease to be
Dissolved in life
no longer be there
For everyone to see
It had fallen
Separated
And free
Dissolved in the mud
Would seep back
Into the tree

Soon it’ll be a part of earth , growing into another plat perhaps. A nice poem.
