Pure White or Yellow

So pure and white
could have been yellow
May be used on the forehead
But most of the time, for the below

Made of the same stuff
Like the books on the shelf
One brimming with wisdom
Other stained with remains of rectum

Each having a purpose
And a rung on the ladder of priority
Each one satisfies a need
for leisure, or a matter of necessity

One may be read
While you perform the act
The need for the other
Is usually after the complete act

Those pages are filled with words
This paper is corrugated and stark
One is filled with stories and stuff
Other has a possibility, that’s dark

It may aspire to be written on
Of stories, ideas, scribbled or typed
But stuck on the roll
It is more likely to be swiped

For both, from the bark of the tree
the origins are the same
Yet, One may live in ignominy
While other may revel in fame

The place makes the difference
On the shelf or in the loo
What you are, is often marred
by what you usually do

I wrote this thought
On a strip of that toilet roll below
Does that make my thoughts
Pure white or yellow??
