Sitting in a cafe
Music baring loud
Can’t hear a thing
Alone, in the crowd
Cocooned in the song
People speak with no voice
Just the lips moving
And a silent noise
There is no one to see
Blinding Lights cloud the eye
In those flickering lights
shadows hide, whoever am I
In the public, I find
My own private space
I have nothing to explain
There no one I need to face
As it gets louder
There no more sound
People fade
Music remains
