Winding Roads

Winding roads
turn left and right
Hugging close
to the mountain side

Descending gradually
sometimes steep
moving fast at times
Sometimes just a creep

River keeps it company
Flowing along
Gushing water hums
Its favourite song

Destination isn’t far
Valley is plain and wide
Roads are wide too
Now straighter and wise

Through twists and turns
straight roads and bends
The roads stays there
The journey ends
